Volunteering

The National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic depends on a corps of more than 700 volunteers.

Based on the needs of the event and its Veterans, volunteers with specific skills and abilities are prized contributors.

Those include:
-
Certified adaptive ski instructors
-
CDL drivers with class “B” passenger endorsement
-
Clinical staff in the areas of recreation, occupational and physical therapists and adaptive sports specialists
Applications for volunteers at the 2025 Winter Sports Clinic are now closed.

Volunteer selections are a highly competitive process. Preference will be given to those who have volunteered previously, those who have specialized skills or have adaptive sports experience.
Many volunteer opportunities are physically demanding at high altitude, require lifting and some require moderate computer skills. Each area has job-specific requirements. If you volunteer, please ensure you can meet the requirements.
Volunteer opportunities are recruited for in the following areas:
-

-
Downhill Adaptive Instructors (we are in need of strong instructors who can tether)
-
Food & Beverage
-
Nordic Adaptive Instructors
-
