The National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic is an adaptive skiing program open to male and female military service Veterans who meet the qualifying disability requirements.
All accepted Veterans are required to ski.
There is a sit-down skiing weight limit of 220 pounds and a stand-up skiing limit of 300 pounds.
Qualifying disabilities include:
Common disabilities that do not qualify include:
- Low Back Pain
- Degenerative Joint Disease
- Osteoarthritis
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Chronic Pain
How To Participate
All disabilities are subject to review by the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic medical director and program director.
